AIR JORDAN IV "BRED" 308497-089
Air Jordan IV were designed by Tinker Hatfield In 1989. The designer created one of the most comfortable and favored Jordans ever. AJ IV has a lot in common with the previous model, as it feature the same midsole and the cut. The upper part of the shoe consists of leather or nubuck, which afterwards became very popular among sneaker designers. AJ IV for the first time featured mesh materials, that increased air flow and breathability. Due to triangular plastic lace holders the foot was supported and kept in a stable position. To increase worldwide popularity the advertising campaigns with Spike Lee and MJ were aired. With AJ IV on his feet, Michael Jordan played in fourth All-Star game in a row and was awarded with the third consecutive Scoring Title. But the most memorable moment was when Jordan hit the winning basket in fifth game of the series vs the Cavs in 1989 playoffs.
