HYPERDUNK 2013 "Kay Yow" 599537-601
Nike’s one of the top performance and flagship basketball sneakers just returned for the fifth time. Ever since the first release of the Nike Hyperdunk in 2008 the shoe has been favored allover the world. Many of NBA players were took part in advertising campaigns, but the player who made Hyperdunks recognizable all-over the world was indeed Kobe Bryant. You must have seen the video where he jumped over speeding Aston Martin. Every each version of the Hyperdunks featured different setups of Flywire and Hyperfuse technologies and Zoom and Max Air systems. In 2012 Nike designers brought back Lunarlon foam, mostly known from running sneakers. The setup seemed to fit not only the players but the designers as well, which resulted in a direct transfer of 2012’s midsole to this year’s model. Upper part of the Hyperdunk 2013 features a combination of synthetic materials that is not only light but durable as well. Making its another appearance in Hyperdunks is the Dynamic Flywire technology, that, as the name suggest adjust to the foot’s dynamic movement, keeping it stable and safe. Both lateral and medial side of the shoe features cut-outs that allow air-flow. As I mentioned before, the Lunarlon midsole is also here. The resilient foam situated in the heel and the forefoot provides comfort, a feel of responsiveness and most importantly - impact protection. The outsole was designed to perform great on every position on the court, so it will provide traction as big men play in the post with their back to the basket, and as guards move around the hardwood smoothly without any slippage.
